The Board elections are scheduled for November 2023. The UN Board of Auditors is composed of three auditors from the Supreme Audit Institutions of the EU Member States. At present the Board Members are the Auditors General of Chile, China and France. The mandate of the Comptroller General of the Republic of Chile in the Board expires in June 2024 and the President of the Brazilian Court of Accounts is running for this office.
Upon considering the request NIK President Marian Banaś decided to present the candidacy of the President of the Brazilian Court of Accounts to the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
At the end of the meeting the Ambassador invited NIK President Marian Banaś to the vernissage of the exhibition organised by the Embassy of Brazil in the old library of the University of Warsaw. The exhibition entitled: “The heritage of exile. The contribution of Polish refugees to the development of Brazil in the context of the Second World War” depicts the fate of Polish refugees of Jewish origin in Brazil and their contribution to the development of this country. The exhibition can be seen from 5 to 13 September and the entry is free.
