The article presents the current results of the research on working migrants belonging to the precariat group. The authors discuss the nature of this group through referring to the definitions in literature and through describing its characteristics. They also mention examples of forms of employment and main elements of the work that make a migrant a member of the precariat group. Then, they present potential factors due to which a person becomes a member of this group, as well as the activities that may prevent them from this. In the opinion of the authors of the article, one of the reasons is the way employers treat migrants. The authors also look at the state institutions responsible for migration control, social networks, as well as the competences, convictions and motivations of migrants themselves.
